Everyone who has ever made a Skydive agrees, there is nothing that compares to your first jump! <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most of us dreamt and thought about it for a long time before ever actually making it to the drop zone. We tried to imagine what it was going to be like, the sound of the wind, the air in our face, the incredible acceleration and speed, that moment of stepping out the door. But it was nothing like we expected! The adrenalin rush of our first freefall followed by the quiet serenity of the canopy flight was so completely different from anything we\u2019d ever done before. We tried to tell our friends about it but we were at a loss for words and ended up saying \u201cI can\u2019t explain it. You just have to do it.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We hear it all the time, whether you only do one jump or choose to pursue skydiving as a new hobby, that first skydive is a life changing experience. At that moment of truth, when it all came down to it, you had the courage to step off the plane and fly. You landed with new self confidence, ready to face your fears and take on any and all challenges in pursuit of your dreams.  <\/span>If you did this you can do anything.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What could possibly be better than your first jump? Your second jump! <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Your second jump is a completely different experience than the first. The first jump is everything I just described. But on your first jump the level of adrenaline and the sensation of freefall are so foreign that for everyone there is a certain amount of \u201csensory overload.\u201d With so many new physical and emotional experiences happening simultaneously it is difficult to absorb it all. It\u2019s sometimes hard to tell if the freefall lasted 5 seconds or 5 minutes!<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the second jump your heart will be racing again, but you will know much more what to expect.  <\/span>There is much less sensory overload. You can recall every second. Freefall actually seems like the 50ish seconds that it is. Because you are so much more aware during the jump you are actually able to enjoy the entire experience more. You don\u2019t just have the adrenalin rush when you exit the plane, you remember it!  <\/span>You remember how you became more relaxed after exiting the plane and transitioning to stable freefall.  <\/span>You remember the view of the beach and the mountains. You remember the smooth deceleration from freefall to the canopy flight as your parachute blossomed open.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

With less sensory overload you are more aware and in touch with the entire experience. Most people actually \u201cenjoy\u201d the second jump even more than the first.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

You experience the first jump, but you own the second one!  <\/span>There is nothing that compares to that second Skydive.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Skydive Perris is not your average center.<\/em>  <\/span>We are one of the largest and most established skydiving centers in the world. We have been in business for over 40 years and operate on our own private airport, every inch of which was designed specifically for skydivers.  <\/span>We use only twin engine turbine aircraft and have a fleet of eight of them.  <\/span>Each one big enough to take you and ten of your friends on a tandem jump together!  <\/span>We are one of three centers in the world that have a vertical wind tunnel on site.  <\/span>Our students practice in this freefall simulator before their first jump and throughout their training and progression. When the jumping is over we all get together at our Bombshelter Sports Bar and Grill to share and enjoy the days\u2019 festivities.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because of our internationally recognized fleet and facilities Skydive Perris was selected by the United States Parachute Association as the host of the 2017 US National Skydiving Championships<\/a>. We have also been the location for many National and World Record events including the Women\u2019s, Brazilian and Australian records for largest freefall formations.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When you jump at Skydive Perris you\u2019ll meet skydivers from all around the world and all walks of life.  <\/span><\/span>Any given day at Skydive Perris, you will see skydivers from 18 to 85, from as many as 30 different countries (during big events), from every ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation and occupation. We are teachers, students, Generals, Privates, doctors, waiters, fireman, gardeners, policeman, secretaries, mechanics, construction workers, models, actors, journalists and entrepreneurs of all types. You name it, we\u2019ve got em!  <\/span><\/span>But no matter the back ground, or financial status, when you walk on to the drop zone none of that matters. Everyone is equal.  <\/span><\/span>That\u2019s the family of skydivers that you\u2019ll become a part of at Skydive Perris. You\u2019ll make friends for life.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
